Ingredients
Spinach – finely chopped– 4 cups
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Water – 1 cup
Salt – to taste
Butter – ½ tsp (optional)
Preparation
Pressure-cook the spinach and mash it well with a wooden ladle. Boil water in another pan and add salt. Now add mashed spinach and bring it to a boil. When it thickens, sprinkle pepper powder and add butter and serve hot.
Note: Spinach has got a special place in the weight loss recipes as it is highly fibrous and helps in bringing down weight. It is advisable to take spinach on a daily basis.
