Ingredients
Low fat milk – 3 cups
Apple, grated – 1 cup
Nutmeg powder – 1 pinch
Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp
Sugar substitute - 2 sachets
Preparation
Bring the milk to boil in a heavy bottomed pan and simmer it for 15 minutes. Add the grated apple, nutmeg powder and cardamom powder and simmer for another 8 minutes. Cool completely. Add the sugar substitute, mix well and serve chilled.
Tip: As a rough rule of thumb, one pound of fat equals about 3,500 calories, so one could lose a pound a week by reducing daily caloric intake by about 500 calories a day. Naturally, the more severe the daily calorie restriction, the faster will be the weight loss.
