Ingredients
Tomato – sliced- 4 no
Onion – chopped – 4 no
Chilly powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 2 tsp
Green chilly (optional) – 2 no
Powdered spices – 1 pinch
Mustard – ½ tbsp
Curry leaves – 7 no
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves – finely chopped – 2 tbsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Preparation
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard and curry leaves. When it starts to pop out, add chopped onions. After 2 minutes, add chilly powder, coriander powder, powdered spices and salt and sauté. When it is thoroughly cooked, add tomatoes and mix well for 4 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
Tip: Since sugars contribute calories with few, if any, nutrients, look for foods and beverages low in added sugars. Read the ingredient list and make sure that added sugars are not one of the first few ingredients. Some names for added sugars (caloric sweeteners) include sucrose, glucose, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, maple syrup, and fructose.
