Ingredients
Cabbage - 1 no
Flour – 2 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Pepper – fresh ground – 1 tsp
Chervil – 1 tsp
Cheese – grated- fat free – ½ cup
Chives – ½ tsp
Sugar – 2 tbsp
Butter – 2 tbsp
Hot milk – 1 cup
Preparation
Cut cabbage in wedges 1/4 inch thick and boil in water for 10 minutes. Drain well and place in buttered casserole. Sprinkle with the flour, salt, pepper, chives, chervil and sugar. Dot with butter. Pour the hot milk over the cabbage and top with grated cheese. Bake at 350° F for 35 minutes.
Tip: Eating small frequent meals (six or more instead of two or three large ones) have been associated with being thinner and having a better cholesterol profile. Naturally, findings should not be taken as a license to snack on high-sugar or commercial packaged snacks, soda and sugar sweetened beverages (including too much juice), and fast foods in general. Snacking on such foods is a fast track to obesity.
